Stunning Valentines Wedding at Drapers Hall

Drapers Hall was built in 1576, just over a century after the Shrewsbury Drapers Company was granted a royal charter by Edward IV, and wealthy drapers commissioned some of the finest buildings in the town.

Drapers Hall is a timber framed building constructed for the Drapers Guild. Altered in the 18th Century and restored in the early 20th Century. The original 17th-century oak furniture is still in use in the restaurant. The band had to move some of the very heavy banqueting tables to make way for a performance area. That was a tense moment.

This stunning building was the venue for the band’s performance at a Valentines Wedding. The band performed 2 sets of ABBA’s Greatest Hits while the newly weds and their families danced the night away. Sensation included the classic I do i do i do i do i do for the Bride and Groom to dance to.
