The Venue

Sensation – ABBA Tribute Band are no strangers to The Venue as they have been playing there since 2011. The Venue is nestled in the heart of the Blackburn Valley in Barkisland near Halifax.

The Venue is situated in Bower’s Mill. Bower’s Mill was built in the 18th century as a water-powered fulling mill. It has also been used as a corn mill, a worsted mill and a woolen mill. Textiles manufacturer J. & S. Taylor Ltd occupied the mill from 1882 to 1991 before moving production to Sowerby Bridge. The mill has now been converted for businesses and The Venue is one of them.

The Venue hosts Tribute and Party nights throughout the year as well as producing some of the best food the band have tasted. The band have also performed their 80s Tribute Show here.
