On Tuesday 15th November ABBA Sensation performed at the national stadium for the England vs. Sweden international football match. The band performed several sets to English and Swedish fans and the mood was electric throughout the evening! Here's a quote from the BBC article:

On Monday 10th October ABBA Sensation flew out to Ibiza to perform at the 70's break for Thomson Gold. They performed at the Panorama and Catalonia Hotel's and received a great reception from the guests at both hotel's.
Sensation had the pleasure of working alongside the fantastic Brotherhood of Man who won the Euro Vision Song Contest in 1976. It was a delight to meet such an iconic 70's group and hear some old stories. The band hope they can return to Ibiza in the future.
On Friday 9th September, Sensation were invited to perform at the revamped RAMFest 2011 - Real Ale & Music Festival at Middleton Sports Club
on the south coast. The band performed a 90 minute set to a 500 strong crowd with energetic singing a dancing by the audience from start to finish.
Also performing that night were the UK's finest Queen tribute band - HRH featuring The Great Pretender who closed the event in truly spectacular fashion.
On Wednesday 7th September, Sensation performed at the 17th annual Germinal Centre Conference held by the University of Birmingham at the prestigious Belfry Hotel & Conference Centre.
Out of 170 delegates (all scientists) nearly the whole room was on their feet and thoroughly enjoying themselves! The venue even had to move the dining tables four times to make room for the ever-increasing number of people joining the dance floor.
On Saturday 27th August, Sensation were invited to be part of the official grand opening ceremony of the new Clas Ohlson
department store in Newcastle-upon-Tyne's city centre. The band played several outdoor shows to mark the Swedish brand's ever growing presence on UK high streets with ever growing crowds that strecthed as far as the eye could see.
Staff at Clas Ohlson were on hand offering the public free hot drinks, biscuits and chocolate with additional in-store entertainment and demonstrations.
On Thursday 4th August, Sensation had the pleasure of performing at the world renowned Winter Gardens in Blackpool as part of the 2011 Rebellion
Festival, supporting none other than the Bay City Rollers.
The band took to the stage just before midnight and punched their way through a high-energy set that saw mosh-pits, conga lines, inflatables and some of the loudest crowd singing the band has ever heard.
On Wednesday 3rd August, Sensation were invited to perform at one of the annual Crayfish parties for Swedish retailer Ikea. This year the event had a twist with Ikea setting a brand new Guinness World Record for hosting the World’s Largest Crayfish Party which the band were proud to have been part of.
The world record-breaking attempt saw 4,967 crayfish eating customers munch their way through 2.5 metric tonnes of crayfish to set the brand new world record.
On Sunday 3rd July, Sensation co-headlined the Party In The Park festival in Taunton, Somerset performing to an audience of over 3000
people. The band took to the stage in the scorching afternoon heat and worked the crowd in to a frenzy through the 90 minute set of classic
ABBA songs. The sold out event was a highlight of the year for Sensation and the audience delivered some great singing and dancing with the
band.
Sensation had the pleasure of sharing the bill with a fantastic Take That tribute.
On Saturday 18th June, Sensation were invited to perform at the 10th birthday celebrations for the Pink Ladies Breast Cancer Support
Group coastal walk in Guernsey. The band took to the stage at the end of the walk in the pink lit market square and performed to over 1000
people. The event was a huge success and over £50,000 was raised.

On Monday 6th March, Sensation were invited to perform two sets at the She Carnaval in Porto as part of the Carnaval season
coinciding with events being held throughout Portugal and in Rio De Janeiro. The band took to the stage in the early hours to
a capacity crowd all in fancy dress that saw Power Rangers, Asterix and other memorable characters singing along.
Joining the band were some of Europe's top DJs including Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi featured Joshua Roberts.
On Saturday 11th December, Sensation were invited to be part of the official grand opening ceremony of the new Clas Ohlson
department store in Doncaster's Frenchgate shopping centre. The band performed several outdoor sets to packed crowds of
Christmas shoppers and local shop staff that saw everyone singing and dancing away in the winter sunshine.
Joining the band were honorary Swedes Kym Marsh from Coronation Street and Jamie Lomas from Hollyoaks, along with coverage from the
local media.
On Monday 13th December, Sensation were invited along for an interview with Amber Sound FM for the afternoon
drive-time show. The band answered questions about their live shows and the music of ABBA and even managed to fit in a short
acoustic rendition of the classic, Fernando.
After the interview, the band headed to the town square for an energetic set and helped bring in the Christmas season with the festive
light switch on.
On Monday 25th October, Sensation were invited to perform at the KIDS charity annual Halloween Ball in the West Midlands. The band
performed a set to the brilliant crowd who were all wearing fancy dress for the occasion and helped to make it one of the best gigs of the
year for Sensation.
KIDS vision is a world where all disabled children and young people realise their aspirations and their right to an inclusive community
which supports them and their families.
On Saturday 25th September, Sensation travelled to Northampton for what was meant to be an ordinary wedding. However, due to very
unfortunate events, the groom had suffered severe injuries in a motorbike accident just hours before the wedding.
Not wanting to let his bride-to-be down, the groom insisted the reception take place as normal and a great night was had by all.

On Friday 10th September, Sensation had the fantastic pleasure of performing at a fundraising event for the charity Lifeblood.
A lot of money was raised for the charity and a great night was had by the band and the welcoming crowd.
Lifeblood is the thrombosis charity that wishes to increase awareness of thrombosis among the public and health professionals and to
raise research funds to improve patient care through improved prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolic disease.
On Saturday 4th September, Sensation flew back over to The Netherlands for a performance at the Het Plein Festival,
an outdoor festival in the beautiful Dutch town of Leiden to an audience of several thousand people.
The band took to the stage at sunset and worked through a high energy set as the crowd danced and sang the night
away under the stars. Also performing were some fine bands including the Motown-esque Soul Men's Party and Rock/Pop band
Jewelste.
On Monday 30th August, Sensation performed an afternoon set at the Caldicot Summer Spectacular festival in South
Wales to an audience of over 1000 people.
Performing in the shadow of Caldicot Castle, Sensation blasted through a 1 hour set on the main stage. The band had the
pleasure of sharing the bill with some of the UK's finest tribute acts including Hells Bells (AC/DC), LetzZep (Led
Zeppelin) and some of the UK's best up and coming bands.
Throughout the final week of August, Sensation were the resident band hand chosen by Ikea to officially celebrate
the company's 15th birthday.
Sensation performed multiple sets in-store, greeting shoppers and staff alike with renditions of the band's greatest hits.
The highlight of the week was leading the celebrations at the traditional Swedish Crayfish Party which featured a special
set from the band including some authentic Swedish party songs for guaranteed audience participation.
On Thursday 5th August, Sensation had the pleasure of performing at the world renowned Winter Gardens in Blackpool as headliners
at the Rebellion Punk Rock Festival, performing alongside the likes of T-Rex, Chas and his band and many other artists.
The band took to the stage in the early hours of the morning and punched their way through a high-energy set that saw mosh-pits,
stage invasions and a sea of Punks singing the night away with the loudest audience rendition of Dancing Queen the band has ever heard.
On Wednesday 14th July, Sensation headlined the Somerton Arts Festival, a prestigious annual event based in Somerset. On this
occasion they were supported by the Two Beatles and both bands performed to a capacity crowd.
The night sold out weeks before the event took place and the audience were all the more enthusiastic for it. From the opening bars
of the first song all the way to the final chords 90 minutes later, the crowd were on their feet and gave the band a night to remember.
On Friday 4th June, Sensation flew over to The Netherlands for a performance at Festival 4U near Amsterdam, playing to packed crowds
alongside some Holland's finest live entertainers and musicians.
The event was covered by radio with an audience of 300,000 people across Europe and the band even managed to squeeze in a couple of
interviews before and after the show featuring an exclusive acapella performance live on air!
On Saturday 1st May Sensation opened the new Clas Ohlson department store in Leeds city centre performing to packed crowds at a
fantastic outdoor gig. The streets were filled with shoppers who flocked to the band's show which culminated in a rousing rendition of
Dancing Queen that had the entire audience and store staff dancing away.
Joining the band was honorary Swede, Becky McDonald from Coronation Street and the day's proceedings were covered by JK and Joel on
Radio Aire.
In March 2010, Sensation continued their run at the UK’s largest Casino for the exclusive G Casino chain performing alongside the high profile UK Poker Stars tournament. The band performed an explosive 1 hour set in the packed showbar that had the crowd singing and dancing the night away. Watch this space as Sensation will be returning later in the year for another show!
In February 2010, Sensation joined the ranks of some of the UK’s premier tribute bands and artists with a performance at the renowned Nailcote Hall for a Valentines Mamma Mia party evening. Performing all of ABBA’s hits, Sensation were the crescendo to a memorable evening of fine food, music and entertainment. In December 2009, Sensation were hand-selected from a list of bands to be the official Christmas 2009 resident act at the exclusive Manchester 235 casino, part of a worldwide casino chain bringing the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas to the UK. The casino has been the venue of choice for a host of celebrities and VIPs including Madonna and Justin Timberlake and proved to be the perfect home for the band for the festive season and new year celebrations.
